Hi. I am an Intel Partner and I have an Intel S2600WFT server board with firmware 17 (last one released when discontinued) with four Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory modules Apache Pass (≈126 GiB each). They are currently running firmware 01.02.00.5446 and ipmctl 1.x.
When enabling 2LM Memory Mode under Windows Server Datacenter 2025, the system experiences a BSOD (storport.sys). When configuring PMem for 2LM Memory Mode (MemoryMode=100), the server BSODs on boot.
Crash dump shows storport.sys fault during early initialization.
BIOS set to Volatile Memory Mode → 2LM.
Reverting to 1LM (DRAM only) boots fine.
I need the latest 02.x firmware for these PMem DIMMs and the matching ipmctl 2.x Windows package, which Intel documentation indicates resolves this known issue.
