Hello, moritezza.
Thank you for posting on the Intel Community Support forums.
I received your ticket regarding RST installation, and I will be reviewing this with you.
Please let me know the following:
1. What is the model of your SSD? Is this an Intel Optane drive or a different one?
2. What is the model of your platform/system?
That error message generally means your system is configured in AHCI, which is fine if you don't plan to use Optane Memory or RAID configurations.
Please let me know this information so we can assist you further, and I will follow up on August 23rd just in case.
Regards,
Bruce C.

Hello, moritezza.
This message is to inform you about the closure of this support ticket.
I previously wanted to obtain more information regarding the Optane Memory you are using and the system so we could provide accurate recommendations to setup your Optane Memory, but there was no response after trying to follow up
The thread will be closed right now, and it will no longer be monitored by Intel support, but if you require any type of assistance from Intel in the future, just open a new thread, or contact us using any of the available support methods:
