Can Intel TME work with Intel Optane Persistent Memory?

Hello,

Currently, I'm using an Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6330 CPU @ 2.00GHz with Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series in App Direct Mode. I have noticed that the Total Memory Encryption (TME) is supported in the 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. So, I would like to know if Intel TME can work with Intel Optane Persistent Memory?

Thank you for sharing the OS version. Can you advise if you are using own system board/ motherboard? Or using specific model original equipment manufacturer(OEM) system board/ motherboard?

Hi @Aoyang-Tong,

Thank you for your patience. After further check, Intel TME is not compatible with Intel Optane PMem. If Intel TME is enabled, Intel Optane PMem will be disabled.
