I had exactly the same error stated on the Linux Mint support chat on Reddit. I had just received an update on the regular support update, "Intel Microcode Support update, and advised that my case should look for this or similar, and do the upgrade.
I never heard more.
I expected this to be related to timing on the USB/ IPC hub. I like the solution from 30 000 feet. reuse of SCSI sense. I do not need more support. I have problems with my battery, ad know very well that I have no driver, using standard Linux Mint, it works, sort of.
