Mixing part number?

Hi,

If I have a set of NMA1XBD256GQS running in Memory Mode... Can I mix them with another set of NMA1XXD256GPS?

Both NMA1XBD256GQS & NMA1XXD256GPS are Optane-100 256GB modules.

Thanks!

If these modules are installed in an OEM/ODM production server under a support contract, you should check with your hardware support vendor as they are unlikely to support or replace the 'GQS' parts should one fail.

The two parts are compatible. The 'GQS' modules are pre-production samples, whereas 'GPS' are production quality. It is recommended to have the same firmware version across all PMem modules in the host.

I'm replying here to confirm them running on firmware v1.0.2.5444.

Thanks Steve!
