Hi. I am an Intel Partner and I have an Intel S2600WFT server board with firmware 17 (last one released when discontinued) with four Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory modules Apache Pass (≈126 GiB each). They are currently running firmware 01.02.00.5446 and ipmctl 1.x.
When enabling 2LM Memory Mode under Windows Server Datacenter 2025, the system experiences a BSOD (storport.sys). When configuring PMem for 2LM Memory Mode (MemoryMode=100), the server BSODs on boot.
Crash dump shows storport.sys fault during early initialization.
BIOS set to Volatile Memory Mode → 2LM.
Reverting to 1LM (DRAM only) boots fine.
I need the latest 02.x firmware for these PMem DIMMs and the matching ipmctl 2.x Windows package, which Intel documentation indicates resolves this known issue.
These are the current specs of my Intel Server S2600WF L9 build.

Please provide:
Latest Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory Firmware (02.x branch) for Apache Pass DIMMs.
Matching ipmctl 2.x Windows package (management tool + driver).
This firmware/tool combination is documented to resolve 2LM boot issues on modern Windows Server kernels.
You can email me or PM me if you need my partner # or anything else.
Thank you,
Lyle Epstein

Hello Jerome,
With all good things and good companies, there are strong partnerships that organizations like to maintain. We have one of those with Intel. I am already bound by an NDA, and there should be no reason I can't escalate this case to someone else in a position to provide a link to firmware that was publicly released and then removed from Intel's site. Could you please escalate this to a higher-level colleague who can respect our relationship and assist an Intel Partner of over 30 years? I would truly appreciate that.
Additionally, the IPMCTL link you provided is for version 1.0, but I need 2.x, which is required for the 2.x firmware. You can refer to internal Article ID: 000032996 for guidance. Unfortunately, I am unable to discuss further on public forums due to my NDA with Intel. Please review the TA articles titled "Optane DC Persistent Memory firmware release notes 02.x Apache Pass," "Persistent Memory Known Issues 2LM," and "Improved stability in Memory Mode (2LM) on Microsoft Windows Server." This should help you understand why I am requesting these files.
