optane PMEM in memory mode on VMWare

I have CZC2QR3 which has 2tb Optane and 512 of RDIMM. And 7V1QMH3 that has 512 of that same RDIMM ram. I want to move the 512 in 7V1QMH3 to CZC2QR3 and the 2tb Optane from CZ to 7V. Will 7V need the RDIMM as well? Would I have to leave some of that behind. It shows in vmware that CZC2QR3 only has 2tb of ram, is that a mistake with config or is that typical when running this Optane memory in memory mode?
