Hello Intel Community,
I am looking for some guidance on how to proceed with a warranty claim for my Intel® Optane™ Memory H10 drive.
Here’s a summary of my situation:
Product Details:
Product: Intel® Optane™ Memory H10 with Solid State Storage
Date of Purchase: February 21, 2021
Warranty: 5-Year Limited Warranty
The Issue: My PC has become very unstable recently. The Optane drive is frequently not being detected on startup, and it's causing multiple "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD) errors in Windows 10.
Steps I've Already Taken:
I contacted the original retailer, who directed me to contact Intel for warranty service after the first year.
I tried to create a support ticket on the Intel website, but the system shows a message that the product is "discontinued and no longer supported."
My core question is this: How can I file a warranty claim for a product that is still well within its 5-year warranty period but is listed as discontinued on the support portal? I believe the hardware warranty should still be honored.
Has anyone in the community successfully navigated this process for a discontinued product? Any advice on a specific contact method or procedure would be extremely helpful.
I have the original proof of purchase and all the necessary product details (serial number, etc.) ready to provide to an official Intel support representative.
Thank you for your help!
