Re the Intel SSD Optimizer that's in the SSD toolbox: If I run it several times in a row I see no improvement in the amount of time it takes it to "optimize". Back in the defrag days once the drive was defraged it took very little time if you ran the defrag again. Is the optimize function working?

Emory Alexander,
Regarding the optimizer functionality, it is different than what we used to have with the Windows* defrag. While running optimizer, the software writes null files to the NAND, (this is not data). It is normal to take some time to run every single time.
In case you need further assistance please let us know.

Thanks. Is there any benefit in performance (or anything else) in running the INTEL SSD Optimizer more than once (two or more times consecutively)?

Hello Emory Alexander,
There is actually no improve or benefit in running the optimizer more than once. What we recommend is to run it at least once per week.
Regards,
