Hierarchical searches in the TimeQuest Name Finder

For those used to the traditional Quartus II "Node Finder", the TimeQuest "Name Finder" can be a bit tricky, especially when searching the get_cells or get_pins collections. Some hints:

-> By default, only the first level of the design hierarchy is searched. Use the Hierarchical option if you want to recursively search throughout the hierarchy. The Quartus II Handbook (http://www.altera.com/literature/lit-qts.jsp) has some good examples of how this works.

-> The Compatibility option removes any consideration of the hierarchical level (i.e. the | character) and causes the search to work just as it does in the Node Finder.

Hope this helps!
