Quartus crashes at Fitter stage

Hi,

my problem is that Quartus Prime Pro crashes every time when I reach the Fitter stage. I tried everything I could find on the internet and your forum but I cannot fix this problem, please help, thank you very much

Hi, thank you very much for the quick reply! I have attached two sample .qpf files of very simple projects (basically kind of "Hello World" projects). Quartus crashes in the first Fitter stage after the line "Promoted 1 clock (1 global)".

I just wanted to add that any other project I tried from my colleagues and the internet also crashed. I even uninstalled Quartus Prime Pro and reinstalled it, still the problem persists. And also the timing analysis tool crashes, I tried opening it after the Analysis and Synthesis stages, before the fitter.

A quick update again: I also tried it on a different PC with a completely different CPU and GPU and Win11 this time, but it also crashes there. I have no idea what is going on.

Now I have tried it with Quartus Prime Pro Version 19.1 and I'm having no issues. Must really be a buy in the newest or newer Versions of Quartus  (I haven't tried any other Versions yet).

Does this issue total roadblock your design?

Is 19.1 feasible for workaround temporary?

The design attached seem there is no design, just a qpf file.

Hi, I'm sorry, please find a complete project attached. I have installed Quartus 21.4 now and everything works fine, I can finish my project and do not need any further support. Nevertheless, I hope you can find the bug in the newest Quartus version, as we would like to use it for future projects.
