I have a project which was create by a colleague. It worked without any errors. Now I have changed the project to another device (cyclone II to cyclone III). After I had changed the device, SOPC-Builder opens without any problems.
At last I have added 2 vhdl-files to the project, created 2 symbols and added them to my top-level-schematic to start with the pinning.
After all I tried to open SOPC-Builder. But it does not work.
The following errors are coming:
Error: Program Error
Error: Unexpected error reading the ensemble: java.lang.NullPointerException
An unexpected error occured during Open System: java.lang.NullPointerException
java-lang.NullPointerExceptionat com.altera.sopceditor.tools.saveandload.LoadEnsembleTask.run(LoadEnsembleTask.java:155)at com.altera.ui.app.base.EditorTaskRunner$9.run(EditorTaskRunner.java:389)at java.lang.Thread.run(unknown source)
I have absolutely no idea why this error is coming.
Does anybody know why this problem is existing?
