according to this page
this indicates an outdated BIOS, but that's not the case.
the board is supermicro X12SPL-F and the cpu is a Xeon Silver 4310

Hi,
Make sure you are using BIOS rev. 1.1a or newer.
You will also need to make sure that Intel SGX is correctly enabled on your motherboard. Here are the instructions for doing so with your board: https://www.supermicro.com/manuals/other/X12DP_X12SP_Intel_SGX_Support.pdf
