I am currently running SGX applications on intel core i9 9th gen series and it is working fine, hoping to buy another server intel core 13th gen i5 to run SGX applications, I cant seem to find any intel core processors listed in https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/software-guard-extensions-processors.html . I also saw somewhere it was discontinued from 11th gen series and are only available in xeon processors.

Can someone confirm if intel core 13thgen i5 series has SGX?

Thanks!

Hello,

you are correct that Intel SGX was discontinued on Core processors.

The list you found (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/software-guard-extensions-processors.html) provides almost all the options currently available. Xeon 6 processors (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/series/240357/intel-xeon-6-processors.html) launched in 2025 are currently missing from this list.

Note that the list also mentions Xeon D processors, which you also might find in smaller servers. In the Xeon 6 processor lineup, there are also some products we formerly called Granite Rapids-D, which have a name prepended with "-B". For example, Intel® Xeon® 6716P-B.

Best regards,
Benny
