Hi Team,
I am currently a masters student in Lille, France.
I am exploring Intel SGX concepts and performing basic projects. Since my Laptop is HP-i5processor-12th Generation. My Hardware wont support SGX. I am performing the activity in Simulation mode.
I have encountered an error while trying to run server for SGX as below
" IAS Subscription key must be 32-byte hex string". I tried to enter dummy keys for Primary and Secondary Subscription with 32- 0's but still got same error.
Please help me to find Primary and Secondary keys for the above issue and run the server and client again to make communication.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Chensu Babu Nandimandalam

Hello Chensu Babu Nandimandalam,
note that you cannot do remote attestation in simulation mode, because attestation is based in keys accessible only to hardware.
If you want to do remote attestation, please use Intel SGX on a CPU supporting it.
Additionally, please ignore all instructions talking about remote attestation using Attestation Service Utilizing Intel® EPID (IAS for short) - it was deprecated in Apil 2, 2025.
Instead, use DCAP-based attestation.
Best regards,
Benny
