A S2600WF has spontaniously rebooted, with in the BMC : 'SPS FW Health' 'ME' 'Critical' 'NM Capability' 'OEM - Asserted' and 'SMI Timeout' 'BMC' 'Critical' 'SMI Timeout' 'State Asserted - Asserted' What is the cause for those messages?

To verify more details about the error your system has been facing.

Could you please so kind and provide us the following logs from your system:

 

  1. System Event Log (SEL).
  2. Intel System Information Retrieval Utility (Sysinfo).

I was reviewing the information and I noticed that your system does not have the latest BIOS Version. Could you please so kind and performed the BIOS Update using the version ""02.01.0010"".

 

Please check the following link in order to download the BIOS and Firmware Update Package for UEFI:

Hello,

 

I am following up on your case in order to verify if you performed the BIOS update to the latest version on your system. Also, as additional information I would like to recommend the following:

 

  • Resetting processor
  • Single processor test
  • Swap processors
  • Update the FW to the latest version and clearing the CMOS right after that

 

I will be waiting for your outcome in order to proceed with the next step.

Experiencing this issue as well on S2600WFT servers and already using

Version: SE5C620.86B.02.01.0010.010620200716
Release Date: 01/06/2020

Is the recommendation to use latest version and/or has a fix been discovered to what the possible issue could be?
