I was checking our http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-030804.htm Tested Hardware and Operating System List for this controller and the largest capacity that I was able to find it was 4TB drives.
I checked in our communities, and with the support team, and we have not received feedback yet from other customers as to whether the RAID controller supports these drives or not.
I will be on the lookout for any feedback. I will update this post if I ran into any update.
Feel free to share your feedback if test these drives after all.
