I have a server/workstation running on dual Xeon x5660 (HP Proliant ML350 G6) and would like to upgrade it to the most recent Xeon. Sockets are FCLGA1366, but I cannot find any relevant info about the latest Xeons that could fit in them. The only option I saw was Xeon x5690, but it seems outdated and I don’t know if this series has been succeeded by a new series compatible with this socket. HP’s website is outdated as well, so any insights are greatly appreciated.

Hi LucianoAGV,
Thank you for reaching out to Intel Community.
We appreciate you reaching out to us regarding the reported issue. Upon checking, the products Intel® Xeon® Processor X5660 reached their End of Interactive Support (EOIS) under Legacy Xeon Processor.
Intel concludes providing interactive support, including technical support provided through web tickets, telephone, chat, community support forums, or email inquiries. Due to this product being discontinued, perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help.
Please refer to the below article for EOIS status:

We strongly recommend that you contact the HPE Support team for a compatible processor upgrade since the system is an HPE server.
