Firmware Updates - Best Practice

Just wanted to know what is the best method to update server firmware. Is it best to use the EFI shell or the Intel Deployment Assistant? I have gotten different opinions, even from Intel Tech Support.

If you're OK with command lines use EFI shell. If you prefer GUI use IDA.
