Intel Active System Console doesn't allow mail notifications without smtp-auth

Hi,

I just tried to configure Intel ASC 5.0 to send mail notifications.

Our internal Exchange server doesn't need login data to allow the server to send mails, so I left user and password blank in the ASC.

I get the following message:

Length of User ID must be between 3 and 80.

Is there a workaround for this without changing the configuration directly on the mail server?

And is it possible to send a test notification mail? There was a link in ASC 4.2, but in 5.0 I can't find this.

Best regards

It's hard-coded into the tool, I think. No way around it.

Hello, the credentials are required for security purposes.

As for the 'test e-mail' option, currently it is not available on IASC 5.0.
