I am afraid you fried something, but let's look at a few things:

  1. Have you tried using a different power supply? Sometimes issues like this take out the power supply first. Note that it is possible that the power supply is able to provide standby power (which would light the green LED), but is not able to provide enough to power up the motherboard completely. This could be caused by #2 as well.
  2. Have you ensured that the 12V power cable from the power supply is firmly plugged into the connector?
  3. Have you tried to power on using the Power Button that is on the motherboard itself?

Hope this helps,

Hello Scott,

Thanks for your reply.

I have checked the Motherboard with different power supply but facing the same issue.

Is it possible that BIOS got corrupted due to which power not given to Power and Sleep button?

Regards.

It would take a pretty catastrophic failure to cause loss or corruption of the BIOS - and, in this case, it would be a non-recoverable component failure. The only way it could be BIOS corruption would be if a BIOS update was in progress when power was lost.

Hello Scott,

Is it possible you to share the technical diagram for this motherboard.

Regards,

Shailesh

No. Intel considers the Circuit Diagrams as IP and does not distribute them externally. Yes, I know that we are talking about a 10-year old board, but it doesn't appear that time is a criteria in the decision.

Sorry,
