Is there a windows based RAID configuration utility for the Intel C600 Series on SuperMicro X10DAx

Hello All,

I have a SuperMicro X10DAx motherboard with Intel C600 chipset running Windows 2016. I am looking for a windows based RAID configuration utility for the C600 SATA RAID controller  chipset.

I tried all that are on the SuperMicro website but they all fail the install with error 0x00000643.

Do you have any suggestions for an app to monitor / manage the RAID in windows?

I appreciate your efforts for providing details about the issue with your SuperMicro X10DAx motherboard and Intel C600 chipset. I understand the frustration caused by the installation failures with the RAID configuration utilities.

We understand that you are looking for Windows apps or utility for creating RAID. If you want to create RAID at an OS level then there are many third party software available but Intel cannot comment on it or promote any 3rd party application. Hence we are unable to suggest. But for Windows itself (as you are using Windows 2016), Possible ways to create RAID is by using disk management. Since your windows is 2016, then it should have Storage Spaces, which is similar to RAID. Would like to confirm if you have explored those options?

Also you have mentioned you tried all that is available/suggested in SuperMicro Site, but gives error- 0x00000643, could you please elaborate on what all are the steps that you tried?
