Questions about Intel accelerator interconnect

Hello everyone, multiple accelerators are integrated into the intel xeon sapphire rapids CPU, such as Intel QAT, DSA (data streaming accelerator). I would like to know whether these accelerator devices are connected to the core of the CPU through the PCIe protocol, or whether they use something similar to Interconnection protocol for UPI technology.
