Dear Team,
I hope you are doing well.
We are currently working on a system that includes the following Ethernet controller Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection E825-C for SFP (rev 04)
During our testing and validation on a Rocky Linux 9.2 environment, we are facing link-flap leads to ice driver crash issues and would like to ensure that we are using the most up-to-date software and firmware.
Could you please provide or confirm the following:
- The latest recommended NIC NVM firmware version for the Intel E825-C (SFP) controller.
- The latest stable ICE driver version compatible with this NIC and OS (RHEL/Rocky 9.x).
- Any known issues, fixes, or compatibility notes related to link flap or SFP modules for this controller.
We would like to integrate the latest validated firmware and driver into our setup to rule out any known issues and ensure optimal performance.
Please also let us know if there are any specific procedures or tools recommended for upgrading the NVM firmware.
Looking forward to your guidance.
Br,
Subodh
