S2600CP2 - Deployment Assistant 'Internal Error: unable to proceed"

I updated S2600CP2 board using Intel Deployment Assistant 5 (build5 - most recent), updating from a network source.

S2600CP_SFUP_BIOS02010002_ME020107231_BMC0119r5018_FRUSDR110.ZIP

The README advised to update in order, so I booted from the Deployment Assistant disk, and updated to

BIOS: 02.01.0002 successfully. I booted again, and updated to BMC: 1.19.r5018 successfully. I booted again to update ME firmware from 02.01.07.112 to 02.01.07.231 but after about 1/3 of detecting my configuration, it stopped with the error 'Internal Error: unable to proceed".

After power off, reboot, tried again - same result.

How can I finish the installs which were part of this package?

Actually I don't think you need to reboot every time after updating one component...

Anyway, you can try to boot to EFI shell and update from there. See the readme for step-by-step instruction.
