missing 64-bit installation

Hi

When installing parallel_studio_xe_2015_update5 on a linux (CentOS6) cluster only IA32 files appear under /intel/opt. (the machine does support 64-bit)

When I try compiling a program using the IA-32 executables I get an error saying the compiler is broken:

-- The C compiler identification is Intel 15.0.0.20150805
-- The CXX compiler identification is Intel 15.0.0.20150805
-- Check for working C compiler: /opt/intel/composer_xe_2015.5.223/bin/ia32/icc
-- Check for working C compiler: /opt/intel/composer_xe_2015.5.223/bin/ia32/icc -- broken

When modifying the installation (Step 3 of 5 | Options > Architecture

selection) and unselect IA-32, all the files under /opt/intel/bin are
deleted.

I re-chose:
        1. Finish architecture selection [default]
        2.     IA-32
        3.     Intel(R) 64
and the IA-32 component are re-installed but still no 64-bit files exist.

How can I fix this?

Thanks

Hi,

Please submit Intel(R) Premium Support premier.intel.com ticket for this issue, because some log files from your system are needed for investigation.
