How to download older version of MKL, Professional Fortran license?

How to download an older version of MKL for Windows?

I have several active/current licenses for Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows.

I have read the instructions give in the article titled "I purchased a Professional Edition compiler. Where do I download Intel MKL?".

The instructions in that article did not work for me: there is no download entry for MKL listed under my current licenses, only:

a. "Intel License Manager for FLEXlm*"

b. "Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows* (incl. Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Premier Partner Edition*)"

Background:

We have some active/current licenses for Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows.

This should include download rights for MKL, I believe.

With version 11.0 of the Fortran product, MKL is included in the Fortran download packages, I believe.

At this time, we are restricted to using older versions of Intel Fortran (10.x) because of compatibility reasons.

That means that we need to download individual install packages for MKL as well (since MKL was licensed, but not bundled with the older Fortran download packages).

However, the download center says that I am not permitted to under the above Fortran licenses.

Some older, now-expired licenses for Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows permitted us to download the individual MKL packages.

(And in fact we can still download some older MKL packages using the rights from the expired licenses, but cannot download the more recent versions of the MKL packages.)

When selecting ournewer, active/current renewal licenses for Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional Edition for Windows, the download center does notgive us the option to download the individual MKL packages.

Any comments or hints are welcome.

Thanks much, regards, TH

The Fortran Professional downloads at https://registrationcenter.intel.com to which you have access should include the corresponding MKL versions. If you didn't renew licenses for MKL on account of being entitled to the recent MKL as part of the Fortran Professional, I suppose you wouldn't have access to the separate downloads for the newer MKL versions. You could install the MKL alone from one of those Fortran Professional tar files. You can move the mkl libraries from one directory to another, if you don't care that the mklvars scripts don't get adjusted.
