Could someone help me by telling me how I can modify the function MKL_PARDISO_PIVOT

Hi,

 

Sorry for the delay in response.

 

Sparse direct solvers like LAPACK and known variants don't employ pivoting strategies for symmetric positive matrices. MKL Pardiso also avoids analyzing pivots for performance when dealing with such matrices (mtype=2). 

For mtype=2 (symmetric positive-definite) and mtype=4 (complex and Hermitian positive definite), oneMKL Pardiso utilizes Cholesky factorization without pivoting. Since that setting iparm(56) = 1 is ignored for these matrix types.
