Saving DFT Descriptor Information

Is there any way to save a DFT descriptor to disk? I've been pouring through the documentation and haven't come across anything. I'm looking for something like FFTW's "wisdom" capability.

There is not a way within the MKL FFT (DFTI) to save the descriptor to disk. Do you consider this to be a valuable addition to the functionality? Bruce
