install.sh changes for non-rpm distribution

Hi, I'd like to install Intel MKL on my computer. Unfortunately, the install.sh script appears to rely on the rpm packaging tool, while my distribution (Arch Linux) does not.

In a first attempt,I installed rpm. However the installation fails, complaining that /bin/sh et /opt/intel/mkl are missing. Of course /bin/sh is present on my computer, but of course the corresponding package is absent from the rpm database, which is empty.

Thus I would need advice about the best way to install MKL on non-rpm distribution. Thanks.
