13th gen chipset support - Intel ME drivers (SETUPME.exe) - Where are they!!!!

The latest ME Chipset drivers are out of date on your site.

Can you send me a link that also supports 13th gen chipset.

We have Dell Precision 3460 with this chipset and use Setupme.exe automatically during installation so need an equivalent that supports the latest chipsets.

There are no generic versions on the Intel site. Dell is responsible for providing the chipset package specific to their motherboards (laptop or otherwise).

Dell only have extracted *.inf files. We have designed our IME driver install around Setupme.exe. Why dont Intel have an updated version on their download page. It is their product!!! Honestly.

I found the ME package on Dell's site. Here is download link: https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER09468675M/3/Intel-Management-Engine-Components-Installer_VC601_WIN64_2302.4.5.0_A01.EXE. Now, I can see that Dell, in all their idiotic glory, has replaced the Intel installer with their own. I can't do anything about this; you'll have to take it up with Dell.

I also can't do anything about the fact that the generic package is not updated for the 13th gen. ICS will need to look into this. Speculating, this was not a priority because the vendor is supposed to the provider of this package. Why? AFAIK, it's because the vendor is supposed to have control over the VPro implementation on their platforms.

The Intel® Management Engine (ME) driver improves the communication between the chipset and the hardware attached to the system. Intel shares the latest versions with the system manufacturers, and they have the option to customize it. I suggest getting the full package of the driver from Dell support.

I have now updated our installation mechanism to PNPUTIL in the absence of a SETUPME.exe file.

I cannot accept any solution to this though, as the correct solution is for Intel (the manufacturer of the 13th gen chipset and 16.x AMT FW) to update https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/682431/intel-management-engine-drivers-for-windows-10-and-windows-11.html

It belongs to Intel® NUC 13 Pro Kit systems but, it applies to third-party systems (generic drivers).

There is no functional difference from what is released on Intel® Management Engine Drivers for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11. The website will be updated in the next weeks.
