Full Disk Encryption Danberry

I have question about Project Danberry. Will Danberry provide Full Disk Encryption capability OR will it only manage products (hardware/software) that provide Full Disk Encryption?

To answer your question, yes, the technology codenamed Danbury, an integrated feature of the desktop platform featuring Intel® vProTM processor technology due to be released in 2008, provides hardware-based FDE (full disk encryption). It can be used stand-alone out of the box or enhanced with ISV software to provide more advanced management capabilities. Danbury was not designed to manage other encryption products.
