Hello,
We are a Dock ODM manufacturer, including Thunderbolt and USB-C Docks. Recently, some of our enterprise customers requesting our next generation of Docking Station to support Intel vPro platform. Could you kindly let us know what's necessary conditions to design our Dock to meet this target ?
1. Any restriction in DMC/PD/Hub/Ethernet IC selection ?
2. Any firmware/software certification or supported needed by Intel
3. Is there specific policy in Intel to support this vPro Dock ? ex. only limited for some customers
Thanks and best regards,
CD

Hello CD_Liu,
Thank you for joining the Intel community
Usually it is known that docking stations are not supported by the vPro/AMT technology, but your question is pretty valid. For this reason let me research on this and I will get back to you with a better answer soon

Hello CD_Liu,
Just have a couple updates. There are no USB (Universal Serial Bus) docks that are Intel® Management Tecnology capable. An USB dock should not “block” the ability to connect the network cable directly to the laptop. All the USB docks can be used without interfering in the AMT capability.
All design questions should be addressed through a distributor. There should a Intel assigned engineer that can guide you to the correct group in charge of the design requests.
How Do I Contact an Intel® Authorized Distributor, Supplier, or...
Hope it helps

Hello Jose,
Here I found Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 Dock which can support AMT vPro. Please refer to following information.
As our understanding, it seems no USB-C Dock to support AMT vPro and this Lenovo TBT4 Dock is really special one.
That's why we are curious how to make a Dock to support AMT vPro.
Thanks and best regards,
