I can't get my vPro to work

When I get into intel ME (bios) after entering the password,

It asks me to make a new defult password, but when I do the password is rejected.

It won't let me do anything except make a password or leave, please help

hi, sorry for the two year wait :S

I have the same issue as

"nick" who posted "I've got somewhat of the same problem... I can "log into" vPro but when it asks for a password everyone I give it is rejected

for example the last two passwords i tried to change to were 1;dB and 123:bbBB I followed this 'tutorial'

You need type strong password to meet the minimum requirement, 8 or above characters, uppercase, lowercase, number and non-alphanumeric combination.

try taking the battery out for ten seconds this should reset it.
