I RECENTLY BOUGHT A QUAD CORE PROCESSOR Q6600 AND HAVE A SET OF QUESTIONS RELATED TO IT

1.WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF A QUAD CORE AT A CLOCK SPEED OF 2.4GHZ AND A DUAL CORE AT A SPEED OF 3.0 GHZ

2.DOES THE NUMBER OF PROCESSORS MEAN THAT THE CLOCK SPEED IS MULTIPLIED BY 4.

3.I AM YET TO BUY ANOTHER SET OF GRAPHIC CARD BUT AM CURRENTLY RUNNING ON AN INTEL G33 (GMA 3100). MOST OF MY GAMES SUCH AD CARBON,MOPHA ETC SEEM TO LAG AND SLOW DOWN EVEN AT LOW GRAPHICS MODE. IS THIS DUE TO THE GRAPHICS CARD OR DUE TO MY PROCESSOR.
