Remotely set BIOS password

Does the vPro chip give administrators the ability to set a BIOS password remotely in an automated fashion (i.e. without have to remotely control each machine and step through the BIOS settings by hand as if they were sitting at the keyboard)?

Intel's vPro technology does not directly have the ability to change the BIOS Password in an automated fashion.

However not all is lost, as many OEMs do have remote tools specifically for this task.
