Hi,
In the specs of the Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H it is mentioned that this CPU Intel vPro Eligibility is Intel vPro Essentials.
Can someone confirm if Total Memory Encryption (TME) is included in vPro Essentials or only in vPro Enterprise? In the whitepaper describing TME, there is no mention to Essentials or Enterprise, only vPro.
Please note that I already know this CPU does not support TME Multi Key. That is mentioned in the specs, but there is no mention at all to TME (without Multi Key). The Intel Total Memory Encryption Multi Key is needed only for enterprise users to protect virtual machines. But for laptop users it is way more interesting to have the Total Memory Encryption (without Multi Key). And Intel doesn't specify where the support of TME has been dropped or not (or I couldn't find any information about it).
My laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (Gen 12) and this option is not available in the BIOS security menu as in previous models. I'm interested in knowing if Intel has decided to stop supporting TME in their new Mobile products or if it's a bug in Lenovo's BIOS.
Perhaps someone here has another laptop with the same CPU?

Hi Jerome,
Thanks for the quick (ChatGPT-alike) answer... but my question remains unanswered.
Let me rephrase it and make it short and clear: Is TME part of Intel vPro Essentials? (It's a yes/no answer)
