I am trying to set upu my Pipo W9S tablet laptop as a Windows/Linux dual boot.
I have Linux Mint 17.3 installed on a flash drive and the computer boots from it.
However, there is neither sound nor wifi.
The wifi is no problem. A Tenda USB wifi gizmo works just fine.
The sound is another matter.
Perhaps the sound issue will be solved with the 16.04 &/or 16.10 Ubuntu releases (Linux Mint 18 & 18.1).
I've read that there were issues running Linux on Bay Trail.
Does anybody know of a driver or of firmware that I can download that will allow Linux on Cherry Trail to recognize my sound card, or whatever it takes to get audio?
(Does anybody know what sound card the Pipo W9S runs?)
