Can an on-board USB Blaster be used to program a CPLD?

I would like to program a MAX V CPLD (5M570ZT100A5N), but I do not have a standalone USB Blaster cable. I do have a DE0-CV board with on-board USB Blaster available. Is it possible to use this USB-Blaster to program the external CPLD if I connect up all the JTAG pins?
