At the top of the forum, beside the search magnifying-glass icon, is a globe icon. Clicking it offers language change options. Have you tried this, please!

No matter what I do, https://forums.intel.com/s/topic/0TO0P00000018NTWAY/intel-realsense-technology insists in sending me pages in German. I've tried "Wählen Sie Ihre Region Aus" and choosing US-English., and every other possibility of default language, no avail:

For those that think that this isn't a big deal:

  • In Switzerland we use 4 languages https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_Switzerland. The fact that my IP address might seem to indicate that I'm a German speaker is highly unreliable (my native tongue is English but I've been speaking French for 40 years).
  • Even for the German-speaking part of Switzerland, addressing them in Hoch-Deutsch (high-German) is mis-directed because their language is Swiss-German dialect (which a German would be incapable of understanding).

Now I understand the well-intended "your IP says your're in Switzerland, so let's do it in German". Fine. But PLEASE give me the option of choosing my interface language MYSELF.

You could select the 'Go to your region / country' and select North America.

I see you must have done this already. My apologies. Sorry too for multiple comments - I am on my Android tablet and message edit does not work on it!

Some people who want to avoid geographic IP restrictions use a VPN, though their use is frowned upon due to their potential to get around regional licensing lock outs on services such as Netflix.

If you have access to an Android device, it was announced today that Opera have now built a free VPN into its Android browser.
