I use my old laptop that has the 3945abg wifi card to host things on so it has to run 24/7. It used to run just fine untill some months ago when it suddenly didnt detect wifi signals anymore. i ran the windows issue resolver thing and it said i just had to turn the switch on because it was turned off. However it wasnt turned off at all, so i turned it off and on again and everything worked just fine. Ever since this happened, it does this very often, untill the point where it would only last for an hour.
i upgraded the laptop to windows 10 just 2 weeks ago and it has worked no problem untill yesterday, when it did it again. Only this time no matter what i do, it keeps telling me its turned off. i tried flipping the switch multiple times, rebooting the pc. all to no success.
Because it cant connect to wifi anymore and i dont have the possibility for ethernet i cant try to update drivers, or run the support tool.
is there anything i can do to make it work again and why did it suddenly do this while it had been working perfectly for months before?
