Hello,
Does the Intel media SDK (any version) support AVC-Intra decoding?
I've taken a quick look at the docs and it's not that clear.
For example we have this
"If the H.264 profile is High 10 Intra, High 4:2:2 Intra or High 4:4:4 Intra, this parameter is ignored."
In the docs for the encoding parameters.
But looking at the headers the only profiles supported are "baseline", "main" and "high". There is no "High 10 Intra" or "High 4:2:2 Intra".
I haven't got as far as trying it out on an ES yet. I thought I'd RTFM first!
Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Unfortunately, that fact is that these features are not supported in Media SDK SW or HW mode. The manual will be updated in our next Media SDK 3.0 beta release to remove the Intra-AVC statement you referred to. The only profiles supported for H.264 encode are Baseline, Main and High.
Thanks for making us aware of this error in our documentation.
