The Intel Media SDK project is no longer active. For continued support and access to new features, Intel Media SDK users are encouraged to read the transition guide on upgrading from Intel® Media SDK to Intel® Video Processing Library (VPL), and to move to VPL as soon as possible.

Announcing Intel® Media Server Studio 2017 R3 and New Sample Code

We are proud to announce the release of Intel® Media Server Studio 2017 R3! 

The release package is the Community/Essential Edition which provides:

  • Major HEVC encode video quality improvements on the Linux version
  • Significant enhancements on the Flexible Encode Infrastructure(FEI).
  • Support of CentOS 7.3.
