Does oneVPL support hardware encode/decode?

Hello, could anyone clarify the current status of hardware encoding and decoding support? The "vpl-inspect" utility reports that only the software implementation is available.

Windows 10 x64 / Skylake Core i7 CPU /  VPL version 2021.1.1

Hey Alexander


OneVPL is in Gold Release( 2021.1), Gold release only supports CPU. We should support hardware codec for the next release ie OneAPI 2021.2 .
