H.264 Encoder Configuration

Hi,

Is there anyway by which we can specify the Bits per Slice configuration in the encoder ?
I am aware that you have NumSLice parameter but this is not useful for the application which we are targetting. We are targetting for RTP application in which each packet size has to be ~1400.

Please let me know if there is anyway to achieve the same.

Hi Krishna,

Unfortunately Media SDK doesn't support slice size control. But this feature is being considered for the future versions of Media SDK.

Hi Krishna,

At this moment we cannot share any details about when/if this feature will be available. But the hope is that it will become part of the next release (2013) of the product. We'll update this forum when we are ready to unveil more details about next release of the SDK.
