Is it possible to have individual NAL unit's as the output of the H264 encoder?

I am streaming the H264 via RTP and this would avoid the need to parse for NALU start codes.

Media SDK's base unit of output is by frame, not NAL unit.  I understand how this could be convenient but this would be a big departure from the way Media SDK works today.
