Hi,
I'd love to learn aboutthe possible methods (APIs) to access the functionality of the HW Quick Sync Video, either that the Intel Media SDK provides,or any other alternative.
What are the available resources to learn about Quick Sync Video, and its supported APIs?
Best regards,
Tamer

Hi Tamer,
The Intel Media SDK is the API that is used to expose the benefits of Intel Quick Sync Video hardware when it is available. When Intel HD Graphics drivers are installed on systems with Quick Sync Video capabilities, the drivers provide an implementation of Media SDK API that makes use of the hardware. Please see the developers guide and reference manuals for information about initializing and using media sessions.
