Hello, I am reaching out to request assistance regarding an issue with Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST) on my system.
My laptop model is LG Gram 15Z90S-A.AB50CD. After recently replacing the SSD, I performed a clean installation of Windows 11. Since then, I have encountered an issue where audio is not functioning due to an error with Intel Smart Sound Technology OED.
The device status shows the following error:
Code 10 – "FW did not send FW Ready notification."
I have attempted the following actions:
Installed Intel SST driver version 20.40.9870.21 provided by LG Electronics → Issue persists
Installed Intel SST driver version 10.29.00.5714 for Windows 11 → Same issue occurs
Reinstalled drivers multiple times after complete removal
I also contacted LG Electronics, but they informed me that this specific model is not an officially supported retail product, and therefore they are unable to provide additional driver support.
Given this situation, I would like to request your assistance with the following:
Is there a compatible Intel SST driver version that supports this hardware configuration?
Is this issue related to firmware (DSP/BIOS) compatibility rather than the driver itself?
Are there any recommended steps to resolve the "FW Ready notification" error?
