I installed oneVPL base toolkit on Windows 10. Using the steps here, I don't see oneVPL demos as part of running oneapi-cli.exe. Should there be oneVPL demos? Under oneAPI Libraries (or other branches), I don't see oneVPL. Screenshot from oneapi-cli exe below:

Hi,
Thank you for posting in Intel communities. We too have observed that, in Windows, the oneVPL samples are not available in oneapi-cli. We will work on this issue internally and get back to you soon with an update.
Meanwhile, we can provide two workarounds so that you can continue working on oneVPL demo samples:
- In Windows, oneVPL samples are available in this path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\vpl\2021.4.0\examples". You could go through the readme.md files for every sample for your understanding.
- As you're an Intel DevCloud user, you could also try oneVPL in DevCloud. DevCloud has oneVPL samples in oneapi-cli
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Alekhya

Apologies for the delays. Media SDK functionality has been superseded by oneVPL, FFmpeg and GStreamer.
For more information see the oneVPL Landing Page: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/tools/oneapi/onevpl.html where you will find, among other information
oneVPL version 2.x is an API that is the successor to Intel® Media SDK. The Intel Media SDK project is no longer active and will not be updated. Packages and downloads are still available on GitHub*. For continued support and access to new features, Intel Media SDK users are encouraged to move to oneVPL as soon as possible.
Let us know if you have any questions about oneVPL.
