Hi,

We found memory leak when using Intel® Media Server Studio 2017 R2 for Linux on Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1515M v5 @ 2.80GHz
CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Device [8086:193d] (rev 09)
vainfo: VA-API version: 0.99 (libva 1.67.0.pre1)
vainfo: Driver version: 16.5.55964-ubit

we use Video Processing (VPP) Sample sample_vpp to transcode 40 streams and there is memory leak ~384k/min.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

As Max and Dmitry asked, could you share your command line and the method how you detect the memory leak?

Hi all,

Sorry. We need more tests to verify it because after several hours the memory usage increased from 1.51G to 2.71G and stop increasing.

We changed the source code. We added a loop.

Thanks,

Jason
